Race Registration will begin at 8 a.m.

First Place $1,000

Second Place $750

Third Place $500

The Great Amazing Race is a fundraising event to benefit Dustin’s GreenHouse. The race will promote the attractions and resources of downtown Greensboro. The Amazing Race is a scavenger-hunt-like race through downtown Greensboro that is patterned after the TV show “The Amazing Race.”  Teams of two people will complete challenges, both mental and physical, at locations throughout downtown Greensboro. The teams must complete the challenge before receiving a clue that leads them to their next challenge. Running and walking will be required throughout the day.

The first-place team will receive a grand prize of $1,000. 
The second-place team will receive $750

The third-place team will receive $500.

To participate, teams must each raise a minimum of $250.

 

 

Entry Criteria and More Details

• Only teams of two people can participate.
• At least one person on the team must be 18 or older. We encourage family teams!
• We will accept a maximum of 30 teams.
• There will be between 11-13 challenges. Each challenge must be completed before moving on to the next challenge.
• Teams must pay a registration fee of $25 per person at the time of registering; $20 per person for an adult/minor team.
• Teams must raise $250 to participate. Any team that raises $500, will receive a two-minute head start. If a team raises $1,000 or more, it will receive a two-minute head start plus a free pass on one stop.
• Teams must race by foot unless otherwise directed by racing clues.
• Teams must be in good physical health to participate in the race and fill out a health waiver before beginning the race. Minors must have parental or guardian consent
